Are the safe zones identical on TikTok, Reels and Shorts?
Close but not identical — each platform draws slightly different chrome. The 200px-top/300px-bottom rule is the practical envelope that clears all three; composing inside it means never checking per platform.
Does my image leave the browser?
No. The checker draws your frame locally with CSS overlays — there is no upload, no storage, and nothing to delete afterwards.
Where should captions go in a vertical frame?
Inside the clear band, typically in the lower-middle region above the bottom 300px. Never places captions there automatically and keeps faces framed against the same bands during its reframe.
